• You can only verify a phone number you own.
• You must be able to receive SMS to the phone number you are trying to verify.
• You must have a working internet connection through mobile data or Wi-Fi. If you're roaming or have a bad connection, verification may not work. Try opening www.jiomeet.com on your phone’s Internet browser to see if you are connected to the Internet.

1. Enter your phone number.
2. Tap Get OTP to request a code.
3. Enter the 6-digit code you receive via SMS.

• Wait for OTP. It may take up to 10 minutes.
• Don't guess the code, or you will be locked out for some time.
• Don’t trigger too many attempts to receive code, or you will be locked out for some time.

If you are having issues verifying, please try the following:

1. Restart your phone.
2. Delete and reinstall the latest version of JioMeet.
3. Send a test SMS message from any phone to your own phone number exactly as you entered it in JioMeet, to check your reception.

JioMeet quickly and easily recognizes which of your contacts are using JioMeet by accessing your phone's address book.

• Open JioMeet and tap on call icon > Pull down to refresh.

If you can't see your contacts:

1. Make sure you have allowed JioMeet to access your phone's contacts in your phone's Settings app.
2. In your phone's address book, make sure that all accounts and groups are set to "visible" or "viewable".

You can make video calls to your contacts using JioMeet for free. Video calling uses your phone’s internet connection rather than your cellular plan’s voice minutes. Data charges may apply.

1. Tap on icon & select the contact you want to call.
2. Tap on Invite for meeting.

When someone video calls you, you'll see an incoming JioMeet call screen, where you can:

• Tap on audio or video buttons to accept the call (in audio or video mode respectively).
• Tap on red phone button to decline the call.

To switch from a voice call to video call, or vice versa, tap on the icon

Tap on icon & select multiple contacts you want to make a group video call to.

Tap on icon & select one of the contacts you want to video call and once the contact accepts the call, tap Add participants :

1. Search for and select another contact you want to add to the call.
2. Tap Invite

• Make sure you and your contacts have a strong Internet connection when placing or receiving group video calls. A poor or improperly configured connection might result in poor video and audio quality. If you're connected to Wi-Fi, your video call quality is dependent on your wireless network signal and network data speed.
• When you receive a group call, the incoming JioMeet call screen will show the participants currently on the call, and the first contact listed.
• Click on the icon on the dashboard to view your call history.
• While on the group video call, tapping End Call call_end option may display call In Progress state in the call history screen. You can re-join the call if its status is In Progress state.
• You can re-join the call either by tapping on to join in audio mode or on to join in video mode.
• While hosting a group video call, you can tap on icon to mute/unmute video feeds of other participants or mute/unmute mic of other participants or disconnect all active participants from the group call. This feature will be available to only call host.
• While hosting a group video call, you can tap on participant count (top panel) and individually mute/unmute video feeds of other participants or mute/unmute mic of other participants or disconnect individual participants from the group call. This feature will be available to only call host.

Most connection issues can be resolved by doing the following:

• Restart your phone.
• Update JioMeet to the latest version available on the Google Play Store and App Store
• Open your phone's Settings > tap Network & internet > turn Airplane mode on and off.
• Open your phone's Settings > tap Network & internet > Data usage > turn Mobile data on.
• Open your phone's Settings > tap Apps & notifications > JioMeet > Data usage > turn Background data on.
• Open your phone's Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi > turn Wi-Fi off and on.
• Try connecting to different Wi-Fi hotspots.
• Make sure Wi-Fi stays on during sleep mode.
• Restart your Wi-Fi router.
• Contact your mobile provider and make sure your APN settings are configured correctly.
• Upgrade your Android operating system to the latest version available for your phone.
