The situation has been particularly hard for teachers and students. The transition of education system from offline to online classrooms has been challenging.

Meeting Duration
JioMeet supports uninterrupted meetings for up to 24 hours, free of cost. Hence, teachers can now schedule classes for longer duration as per their needs (e.g two-hour classes).
Meeting Controls
JioMeet provides excellent meeting controls for teachers to “Mute All”, “Force Mute All”, “Lock Meetings”, Enable Waiting Rooms” etc.
When Force Mute is enabled, the students cannot unmute themselves and disturb the flow of the class. If a student wants to raise a question, he can use “Raise Hand” feature and the teacher can unmute him/her.
Teachers can “Lock Meeting” when they feel,
so that no more student can be allowed to enter the class. This feature helps teachers to enforce timeliness and discipline.
The whiteboard feature allows teachers to overcome the lack of blackboards in an online class.
Students can also write on the whiteboard and ask questions/clarifications from the teacher.
This provides an interactive platform for learning.
JioMeet Android App is also available in Hindi Language for students who are not comfortable with English.
